PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The MTS 5100 Engine Analyzer is an automotive engine analyzer which combines all the tools necessary to diagnose the most challenging vehicle problems.

The Engine Analyzer can be used in 2 ways; as a stand alone unit with its own user interface (display & keypad) or interfaced to a PC.

The MTS 5100 is a full-fledged ignition and engine analyzer, with a 4 channel oscilloscope and graphing multimeter right in the same unit.

The menu-driven displays are user-friendly and self-directing, making the MTS 5100 the most powerful tool in its class. And best of all it's a handheld portable unit that can be used anywhere, even on a road test.

FEATURES

High Resolution Display: A display with 640 x 480 resolution provides the most clear display ever available on an automotive diagnostic tool. A full 7.4" (diagonal)!

Touch screen: Touch screen technology that really works. A touch of a finger is all that's required.

RISC-based Diagnostic Tool: This PC-based processor is incredibly fast when acquiring data from any automotive circuit. The first RISC-based diagnostic tool in the Aftermarket.

User Interface: Automotive service industry designed user interface provides easy navigation through the diagnostic software and is rocket ship fast using the real time operating system's (RTOS) software kernel.

Power Connection: 12 volt power connection is up and out of the way. One of three ways to power the unit, along with AC/DC adapter and the internal battery pack (NiMH). Provides flexibility and true portability.

Secondary Ignition: Conventional distributor ignition (DI), all-cylinder EI (electronic, distributor less ignition) with automatic polarity detection coil-on-plug (COP) ignition.

Primary Ignition: Primary ignition connection supports high voltage (600 volt) inputs, which is compatible with all ignition primary signals.

DVOM: DVOM connection up front allow easy lead attachment, and use 3/4" spacing so all of your standard leads will work also.

Color Coded Connections: Five connections for four channel scope function includes ground and the 4 channel input sources. And each is color coded to make sure the leads are connected properly.

Local Area Network Port: Allows the MTS 5100 to interface to the MTS 6100 Tech Workstation via a fast Ethernet link.

Universal Serial Bus Port: Stands at the ready for fast connection and docking. The same technology found on today's modern desktop PC.

RS232 Serial Ports: 2 ports to connect the MTS 5100 to other peripheral devices.

Rubber Cushion Protection: Durable side cushions protect the MTS 5100 from accidents...these were lab tested and really work.

Soft Touch Rubber Keypad: Designed to withstand the service shop environment...go ahead, get it greasy!

Contrast Adjustment: Contrast adjustment at your fingertips. No longer must you turn on the tool and wait to adjust screen contrast through software control.
